Our client in Dublin has a fantastic position available for a Telephony Specialist to join their team. This large multinational offers excellent career opportunities and invests heavily in staff development. Additionally, they offer a very competitive salary package. Easily accessible, situated very close to the LUAS and just off the M50 with ample car parking.

Some of the main role responsibilities include:

  • Provide support and administration
  • Provide cross training
  • Develop new features and services
  • System configuration and installation
  • Troubleshooting as required
  • Ensure system reliability
  • Maintain inventory and licenses
  • Ensure support documentation is maintained
  • Remain knowledgeable of future digital communication tools and provide leadership in this area

Some of the main skills and experience required include:

  • 5+ years’ experience
  • Educated to relevant degree level
  • Good Operations Management experience
  • Good knowledge of Avaya Session / System Manager, Communication Manager 5/6, Call Management System R16/R17 and AES call recording technologies
  • Experience with SIP trunks and Session Border Controllers
  • Knowledge of ISDN, TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP
  • ITIL and Project Management knowledge is advantageous
  • Some knowledge of Routers, firewalls and switches is also an advantage
