This new role is for a Lead Data Scientist to join their team. You will be joining a well-established company currently enjoying a period of massive growth.
On joining the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence team, your role will be key in driving the business and understanding customer behaviour. This senior position will play an essential part in the overall strategy and growth plans for the company.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- With your colleagues in BI, you will work across the business to present ideas and solutions into business processes
- Identify opportunities for predictive analytics across all aspects of the company
- Deliver machine learning algorithms
- Ensure that predictive analytics delivers high value across the business
- Using large internal and external data sources, extract value in order to improve the business
- Introduce best practices in predictive modelling and AI
- Promote predictive analytics to improve processes
Some of your background should include
- Relevant education, ideally Master’s or PhD
- Experience building predictive models
- Solid background in data mining, machine learning, modelling and statistical analysis
- Excellent abilities with SQL
- Good knowledge of Python and R
- Good communication and influencing skills
